TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 16, 2020, the Hays Area Planning Commission, in City Hall at 1507 Main Street, Hays, Kansas, at 6:30 p.m., will consider the following zoning change from “A-L” (Agriculture) to “R-G” (Residential General District):
A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 14 South, Range 18 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Ellis County, Kansas, described as follows by James Meis, PS 1533:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 10, Block 3, Big Creek Estates, being located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 14 South, Range 18 West; Thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 22 seconds East, along an extension of the North line of Big Creek Estates, a distance of 260.00 feet; Thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, parallel with the East line of Big Creek Estates, a distance of 974.56 feet; Thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along an extension of the South line of Lot 3, Block 7, Big Creek Estates, a distance of 260.00 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 7, Big Creek Estates; Thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, along the East line of Big Creek Estates, a distance of 974.36 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said tract contains 5.816 acres generally located East side of Big Creek Estates.
As provided in the Unified Development Code of the City of Hays; the above application will be discussed and considered by the Hays Area Planning Commission, and all persons interested in said matter will be heard at this time concerning their views and wishes, and any protest against any of the provisions of the proposed changes to the Zoning Regulations will be considered by the Commission.
