Due to weather, the closure of 27th Street at Canal Blvd is delayed until March 25th.
Beginning Thursday, March 25th, 27th Street will be closed at Canal Blvd for Storm Sewer work in preparation of the 27th Street Reconstruction Project. Westbound 27th Street will be detoured north on Canal Blvd to 29th Street, then west to Hall Street. Eastbound 27th Street will be detoured south on Canal Blvd to 24th Street, then east to Walnut. See Detour Map. This work will last approximately one week.
Then, on or about April 1st, construction will begin at the intersection of 27th and Hall. More information regarding the next phase of construction will be forth coming.
