As construction progresses on the reconstruction of 27th Street from Hall to Fort, the construction zone will advance eastward. On Monday, September 20th, 27th Street will be closed between Elm Street and Lincoln. As such, 27th Street Traffic will be detoured using Canal Blvd, 23rd Street and Pershing Drive. The closure plan and detour are shown on the attached map .
The reconstruction of 27th Street from Hall to Fort will progress steadily from west to east through the remainder of the year.
